Setsuka is also quite curvaceous (despite her slim build), and possesses a large bust, thick thighs, and moderate rear. She is well-known for her blonde hair, hazel-colored eyes, as well as her average height. Thus, her character is one of extreme tragedy, as her losses played a pivotal role in the shaping of her ultimate persona.ĭespite her tumultuous life, Setsuka is an incredibly beautiful and attractive woman within the Soulcalibur series. Following his death though, her personality once again took a downward turn, as her calm and even-tempered nature gave way to anger, hate, aggression, and a desire for vengeance.

Shugen’s love and support, however, helped to nurture an innate sense of calmness and sweetness within Setsuka that became a standard of her life for many years after. Prior to her discovery by Shugen, her personality had reached its nadir, as the loss of both her parents (and subsequent abandonment by her family) left her feeling both lost and rejected. Setsuka is an interesting character with a complex personality. Dismayed at her defeat, Mi-na eventually discovers a powerful warrior by the name of Kong, who takes her on as his disciple and trains her extensively in swordsmanship and combat so that a similar defeat will not happen again. Upon learning of Mi-na’s intent to acquire the Soul Edge for herself, Ivy rebukes her for not knowing of the sword’s evil nature and engages her in combat, defeating Mi-na with ease.

After leaving Hwang and her father behind, Mi-na’s journey eventually brings her into contact with Ivy. She later returns to her quest, however, as her father’s insistence on marrying Hwang (following her arrival) caused her great dismay.
